The European Olympic Committee (EOC) has announced that it has started the search for a paid full-time CEO “in an effort to become more professional,” explained the organization. The EOC is a not-for-profit international organization whose objective is to propagate the fundamental principles of Olympism at the European level. The organization is currently led by Spyros Capralos from Greece as EOC president. Mario Pescante is the EOC honorary president. The CEO role will be based at the EOC’s headquarters in Rome. Global management consulting firm Deloitte, part of The Olympic Partners (TOP) program, will be managing the recruitment. The CEO will be in place early in 2024.
