Eurosima, the European association of action sports manufacturers, has launched its first business sponsorship program since it began in 1999. The program addresses start-up companies in the action sports industry. For a year, young entrepreneurs will be given a chance to meet with volunteer chief executives from Eurosima member companies who can provide advice as well as assistance with business development. This opportunity will be offered to four companies, which will also have access to other advantages such as a free one-year renewal of Eurosima membership as well as the option of being represented at the Waterman's Ball, Surf Summit, Surfing Lounge and other key industry events. In addition, the four successful companies will attend the Sport Achat Nantes trade show on Sept. 18-19, 2016, where they will get their own pre-equipped booth in the “Crème Fraîche” exhibit area, specifically designed for emerging businesses in the action sports sector. The deadline for applications is May 10. Applications are accepted from Eurosima member companies that provide manufacturing, distribution or services within the European action sports industry, and have been created less than three years ago.
