Eurosima, the European surf industry association, has decided to spice up the program for this year's Surf Summit and Waterman's Ball, which will be held on Oct. 2-3 at Seignosse on the Basque Coast of France. It will introduce a new exhibit, the Surfing Lounge, to showcase the expertise, creativity and dynamic energy of the industry, highlighting special projects. The conferences will be sponsored by the Ispo Academy. The Summit, the Lounge and the Ball will be open for the first time to European retailers. The Lounge will be open to the public, free of charge, during the weekend of Oct. 4-5.
