Andre Agassi will be in India this coming January to inaugurate the PWR DUPR Indian Tour and League, according to The Dink and the news agency ANI.
As we reported in August, PWR (Pickleball World Rankings) is the work of Pickleball League Asia Private Limited, an Indian firm, and serves as the official ranking for the PWR World Series and the PWR World Tour.
DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating), as we reported in January, provides an “ageless, genderless rating” for about a half million players in 140 countries. Agassi serves on its board of directors and is also Chairman of the Pickleball and Tennis Board at Life Time, a holding company for athletic and country clubs.
All PWR DUPR events operate under the sanction of the Indian Pickleball Association, the Asian Pickleball Association and the Global Pickleball Federation.
