France is calling for proposals for innovative textile solutions for the 2030 Winter Olympics. Companies have until October 10 to respond.

After Chamonix (1924), Grenoble (1968) and Albertville (1992), France will host once again the Winter Olympic Games in 2030 (officially called French Alps Olympics 2030). A call for expressions of interest has been launched to identify innovative textile solutions by French stakeholders that could contribute to the project.

Specifically, the call targets companies offering solutions across five “themes”: textiles recycling, innovative textile and composite materials, environment-friendly processes and services, and “smart products” incorporating textiles.

Terms and conditions as well as the application form can be found on the Techtera website. Techtera is the competitiveness cluster for the French textile industry in the Auvergne‑Rhône‑Alpes region. Applicants have until Oct. 10, 2025 to respond to Techtera’s call.
