According to Shop Eat Surf, Nicolas Foulet, chief information officer at Boardriders since 2015, is the new president of EMEA for Quiksilver. He takes over the role from Greg Healy, who was responsible for Europe in addition to APAC since 2019. Healy had added Europe to his portfolio after Thomas Chambolle, who took over EMEA leadership following the sudden death of former Boardriders CEO Pierre Agnes in 2018, left the company.
As chief information officer, Foulet leads the global information technology function across the combined business and the integration of the entire systems landscape of the legacy companies. Before that, he held various progressive roles at Boardriders, including senior VP, global head of e-commerce. Earlier in his career, Foulet founded the action sports brand Pull-in Underwear and ran a web agency for four years before joining the Quiksilver technical division as general manager. He then switched to marketing and directed Quiksilvers’s European marketing team.
According to Shop Eat Surf, more changes are in store at Boardriders: Garry Wall, the France-based global GM of the Quiksilver brand, reportedly leaves the company to return to his native Australia.
