Elevate Outdoor Collective (EOC) – the owner of K2, Völkl, Marker, Dalbello, Ride Snowboards, Line Skis, Backcountry Access, Atlas Snow Shoe, Tubbs Snowshoes and other brands – is promoting Dagmar Ruthert to director of sales for the European market. She will be reworking both customer service (to refocus it on B2B and DTC) and distribution (for which Ruthert will serve as the supply-chain liaison). Already a member of EOC’s European leadership team, Ruthert reports to general manager Peter Kuba.
Meanwhile, EOC’s cross-country-ski brand Madshus is promoting Marvin Beer from marketing & sales coordinator to sales manager for Europe. Beer has worked his way up over the years from the sales floor, where he worked as a clerk in the cross-country-ski department. He will now be reporting to the holder of a new post, commercial director for outdoor, which should be filled on the first day of 2023.
As we have reported, EOC made changes to its marketing and sales teams last month; the Völkl brand hired a new marketing agency in September; and a single director was put in charge of sales for Völkl, Dalbello and Marker in July. All of this follows the consolidation in June of EOC’s regional sales teams – each handling all EOC brands – into a single, Collective-wide team with regional leaders who report to CEO John Colonna.
