Alexandre Fauvet, who has served as the chief executive of French sports apparel brand Fusalp for nearly ten years, is leaving the role. He will continue to be involved with the brand as a strategic committee member and minority shareholder. Fauvet was appointed Fusalp’s chief executive in 2014 when Philippe Lacoste and his sister Sophie took over the brand. Fauvet had previously spent 15 years at La Chemise Lacoste as the company’s chief executive. His successor at the head of Fusalp is yet to be appointed. Philippe and Sophie Lacoste will take over Fusalp’s interim leadership until a new CEO is found.
Fusalp was founded in 1952 in Annecy, in the heart of the French Alps. The company takes its name from “fuseau from the Alps.”
