As of May 16, 2022, Maïté Angleys will take over the corporate responsibility division of the German Sporting Goods Industry Association (BSI) in Berlin. She comes from the British GearForm Group, which includes the Nikwax and Páramo brands, where she was responsible for managing the sustainability division and developing and implementing a company-wide sustainability strategy. Her focus is on chemical and environmental management systems and textile value creation. The new appointment is part of BSI’s repositioning, initiated by managing director Stefan Rosenkranz, who assumed his post in early 2021. In addition to the areas of digitalization and political advocacy, the corporate responsibility area is intended to strengthen the BSI’s role as a central stakeholder in the sporting goods industry.
