Michelle Poole has been promoted to the position of president of Crocs, taking over one of the former functions of Andrew Rees, the company’s chief executive. After working for Kangol, Timberland, Converse and Sperry Top-Sider, Poole joined Crocs in 2014 as senior vice president of global merchandising, adding responsibility for global product creation a few months later, and for marketing in 2017. From Sept. 10, she continues to hold these functions and added responsibilities for the regional commercial teams in the Americas, Asia and EMEA, with a goal of enhancing the go-to-market strategy of the brand. In announcing her promotion, Rees said that Poole “has had a profound impact on the trajectory and success of the Crocs business.” Rees is projecting a 10 percent sales increase for the company in the third quarter.
