Romain Millet will take over from Frédéric Ducruet as the new managing director of the Millet Mountain Group. Ducruet had been at the helm for the past seven years, and has worked for Millet for 19 years. According to reports in sport-guide.fr, Millet will be appointed to the new role on Dec. 1. Romain Millet, who is 40 years old, is the grandson of René Millet, the founder of the eponymous brand. Romain previously worked for the Millet group, between 2005 and 2013, with roles at a variety of its brands, including in the export department of the same group, Lafuma, in marketing for another brand of the group, Oxbow, and in general management for another subsidiary, Le Chameau. He previously worked in financial advising and consulting, with roles at Lazard Frères and Lek Consulting. In 2019, he was appointed to head of North Asia at the Tag Heuer brand of watches, owned by LVMH.
