Pascal Schweizer, current managing director of Odlo Germany, Austria and Switzerland, will leave the company on Jan. 31, 2023, after more than nine years. Schweizer joined the company in 2013 as managing director Germany from Kettler and took over the management of the DACH markets in 2018. Now he follows the call of a renowned medium-sized family business to take over the management there with national and international responsibility.
Thomas Krichel, already working for Odlo for seven years in various positions, takes over the majority of the tasks handled by Schweizer with the newly created position of head of DACH. With this internal arrangement, Odlo is creating a smooth transition in the management of its important central European markets. In the future, Krichel will report directly to the global wholesale director, Cedric Georges. As will Andre Wolters, who, as team lead global e-wholesale, will look after online retailers in the DACH region as well as all international pure players with a team of three.
Krichel started his career in the sports industry as an area manager at sales specialist Sport Aktuell in 2010, where he looked after brands such as K2, Ziener, Berghaus, Alpina as well as X-Socks and X-Bionic. In 2015, he joined Odlo Sports GmbH. Initially acting as area manager, he rose to key account manager in 2017, with additional responsibilities as key account manager international. He is currently sales manager Germany.
