Xponential Fitness, Inc., the world’s largest franchisor of boutique fitness brands, announced the appointment of Andrew Hagopian as the company’s first chief legal officer, effective March 1, 2023. Hagopian began his career as a staff attorney at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He then served in various internal roles at MGM Resorts International from 2011 to 2020, most recently as chief corporate counsel for four years. From 2021 to 2022, he served as chief legal officer of BetMGM, a leading privately held sports betting entertainment company partially owned by MGM Resorts International. Immediately before joining Xponential, he was general counsel of Newlight Technologies, a biotechnology and manufacturing start-up.
