Benjamin Wolf, who served as Nike’s director of retail operations from March 2019 to January 2023, posted on LinkedIn that he has joined Zalando as head of retail, effective immediately. In total, Wolf spent roughly 15.5 years at Nike. On social media, he commented on the new job at the Berlin-based online marketplace as follows: “My heart belongs to the teams and people I serve every day, focusing on delivering excellence operations, designing the future of our stores and teams and developing the next generation of leaders. […] Especially skilled at developing long-term operational strategies, working closely with senior management to meet company objectives across all fields of play and multiple channels. […]“ Wolf will most likely be responsible for Zalando’s brick-and-mortar outlet stores.
