Fashionmag.com reports that Antoine Tinel has been appointed in charge of international sales at Le Coq Sportif, the French sports brand, to supervise all markets other than those covered by subsidiaries, in Italy, Spain and the U.K. The appointment comes after the departure of Géraud Maréchal, who left to lead the European expansion of Lolë, the Canadian yoga apparel brand owned by the Coalision group. Tinel is a partner in Pilot Fish, a company specializing in the distribution of Californian brands, and founder of Made of Sand, a retro Californian surfwear brand, which is due to hit stores in February. He was previously involved with The Lifestyle Company, in charge of the fashion division between 2007 and 2011, handling brands such as Fred Perry and Ben Sherman. He went on to lead European sales at Façonnable and then set up his own organization, distributing several brands, such as Atelier Scotch.
