Fesi, the Federation of the European Sporting Goods Industry, has appointed new vice-chairs at two of its committees. Jane Montgomery, managing director of the U.K.'s Federation of Sports & Play Industries (FSPA), has become vice-chair of Fesi's Trade & Customs Committee chaired by Karl Sedlmeyer of Adidas. She takes the place of Catherine Trachtenberg who is leaving her long tenure as secretary general of the the French sporting goods industry federation, Fifas. Furthermore, Marielle Schaar, legal counsel at Asics Europe, has been appointed vice-chair of Fesi's Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Committee, which continues to be chaired by Neil Narriman of Puma.
