Fibo, the trade fair for fitness, wellness and health organized by Reed Exhibitions Deutschland, set an all-time record this year. According to the organizers, the event attracted a total of 153,000 visitors to Cologne, as compared to 136,000 in the prior year, including 83,000 trade visitors from more than 100 countries. There were 960 exhibitors, up by 32 percent, and the floor space grew by 23 percent. Fibo had been sold out for private visitors before the trade fair started. In four years, since the move of the trade show from Essen to Cologne, Fibo has doubled both the number of visitors and the floor space, while the number of exhibitors has expanded by 57 percent. This year's show included for the first time an entire hall for EMS (electrical muscle stimulation). The next edition of Fibo will take place at the Exhibition Centre Cologne on April 6-9, 2017.
