Fila will be presenting its first ever runway show at the next Milan Fashion Week, which is scheduled for September 18-24. The specific venue and date of Fila's show have yet to be confirmed. On that occasion, the brand will be unveiling its spring/summer 2019 womenswear collection. Fila's debut runway will be led by the brand's creative director, Antonino Ingrasciotta, who has held that role since last year. Prior to joining Fila, Ingrasciotta held similar functions at Adidas for seven years. Alongside the runway show, Fila will be organizing an exhibition on the heritage and history of the label at Milan's La Triennale. Owned by Fila Korea and licensed in Europe to Deichmann, the venerable Italian sports brand has been trying to make its mark in the fashion sector lately through collaborations with well-known designers such as Jason Wu, Anna Sui and Gosha Rubchinskiy.
