Jubopadel, the Spanish, family-owned manufacturer of padel courts, saw year-on-year revenue growth of 20 percent, to €9.5 million, in full-year 2024, according to CMDsport.

Growth was evident in all of Joubopadel’s markets, which comprise more than 70 countries, and sales were recurrent. “In the new markets we’re working assiduously; these are not sporadic transactions,” CEO Borja Periáñez tells CMD.

According to him, investment in padel is blooming throughout Europe, although he expects France to stand out this year. The clubs, in any case, keep getting bigger, even if in new markets the padel courts tend to be complementary to those for other sports. And the trend is toward panoramic courts.

Spain, says Periáñez, is starting to see more modern courts – in the sense of aesthetics and amenities rather than tech.

In Florida and other parts of the US Jubopadel will soon be installing courts with walls that can withstand winds of 280 kilometers per hour, equivalent to a category-five hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson scale. The company is also adjusting its factories to meet the standard (UNE 147201:2024) that the International Padel Cluster (CIP) set forth last year and is submitting for ISO Certification.

Periáñez expects the current year to be rosy, with revenue growing of another 15 to 20 percent.
