The Spanish buying group Atmósfera Sport, which began life as Esport Deval in 1988, is wrapping up its 35th anniversary year with news of record annual sales, according to CMDsport. In full-year 2022 the retailer managed for the first time to break €30 million in sales – in fact, blew past the milestone to €37.74 million, or 34.3 percent more than FY 2021’s €28.11 million.
FY 2021 was already a 40.0 percent increase on FY 2020, which – no doubt thanks to the lockdowns – was the low point of at least three years (FY 2017 brought in €22.43m). All of these figures are exclusive of VAT.
FY 2022 was a record year also for net profits, which amounted to €200,000.
