American activewear brand Bandier is seeking a buyer for its intellectual property and assets, including but not limited to all of Bandier’s rights, inventory, intellectual property and all accounts receivable as of the closing date of a purchase. The move is an alternative to bankruptcy.
The company, which operates five branded retail stores in the US as well as its e-com website selling both Bandier label athleticwear brands and third-party products from companies including Hoka, Nike, On and New Balance, is still operating.
The expedited sale process, via auction, is being conducted by DSI Assignments. All interested parties wishing to make competitive offers must submit a bid to the Assignee by no later than 5:00 pm Dec. 18, 2023 (Eastern Standard Time).
The decision to sell was made by the board of directors due to a variety of headwind factors such as supply chain issues, as Steven Victor of DSI Assignments told Retail Dive.
