Amer Sports, Inc. has announced significant revenue growth in Greater China, with sales rising over 60 percent year-over-year during Golden Week (Oct. 1-7, 2024). CEO James Zheng attributed this strong performance to an uptick in in-store sales across flagship brands Salomon, Wilson and Arc’teryx, which saw high demand during the weeklong holiday boosted by China’s recent government stimulus measures. The company shared the update at an investor event in Shanghai, where Zheng emphasized Amer Sports’ ongoing commitment to expanding its footprint in the Chinese market.
