El Corte Inglés generated revenues of €16.7 billion for fiscal 2024/25, ended on Feb. 28, according to Diffusion Sport.
This represents a year-on-year increase of 2 percent, or of 4.3 percent like-for-like. Pre-tax income amounted to 682 million, yielding net income of €512 million, up 6.7 percent.

Gross margin expanded by 4.5 percent, boding well for the Spanish retailer’s house brand, while the consolidated group’s Ebitda reached €1.209 billion, up 11.9 percent. Net financial debt was 263 million, or 1.5 times Ebitda. Recurring net profit amounted to €470 million.
Retail sales were up 3.9 percent like-for-like to €13.0 billion, with a retail Ebitda of €922 million.
The online channel drew 891.7 million visits to the group’s website and apps (vs. 858.2m in 2023). The website (elcorteingles.es) has 14.9 million registered users.
