Exercycle, the company behind Spanish fitness equipment company BH Fitness, saw global sales in the professional channel increase by 20 percent in the first half of 2022 compared to the first half of last year, CMD Sport reported. The company would normally expect sales in the professional channel to account for 70 percent of its total revenues, with home fitness representing the remaining 30 percent. Still, the ongoing effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, which boosts home fitness, tend to modify the shares of those two components. It is uncertain at this time whether this will be the case for this year, the company’s management said, while adding that home fitness is not its primary mission.
