Buff generated €44.6 million in sales during the full year of 2024, 6.7 percent less than the previous year, according to Palco23, which says it has seen the private Barcelona company’s financial documents. Of the five business lines only one, Services Rendered, saw revenue growth, reaching about €900,000 in sales. Sport saw €37.05 million in sales (down 4.3% YoY), fashion €5.63 million (down 15.1%) and marketing services €753,839 (down about 50%). The undifferentiated line Other saw €280,312.
Sales in Spain were flat, at €6.1 million. They amounted to €22.18 million (up 2.7%) in the rest of the EU and to €16.32 million (down 18.9%) in the rest of the world.
Net income for the year ended on April 30, 2024, was €1.13 million, up from a loss of €865,582 in FY23. Revenues being down overall, Buff’s escape from the red must be due to a reduction in costs, as Palco23 observes.
Headquartered in Igualada, Catalonia, Buff exports to 80-odd countries and maintains subsidiaries in the US, Canada, the UK, Germany, France and Italy. It took control of its distribution in the last two in 2023.
