China Dongxiang recently provided an update on results for its Q4 and FY ended March 31.
In the final period, Kappa-branded stores recorded a 10 to 20 percent decline in year-over-year sales. Same-store sales fell by high single digits. For the 12 months, the same Kappa doors generated a 10 to 20 percent increase in year-over-year sales and a mid-to-high single-digit improvement in same-store sales.
The Chinese group ended the fiscal year with 1,012 Kappa-bannered stores, down 11 from the prior 12 months.
