The Italian group, which owns Kappa, Superga, Superga, and more, reported consolidated revenues of €409.2 million in 2024.

These numbers are up 3.1 percent year-over-year, as commercial licensee and direct sales expanded by 12.1 percent in Europe and by 1.5 percent in the Middle East. Elsewhere, annual revenues declined by 21.3 percent in the Americas and by 22.6 percent in Asia/Oceania. 

BasicNet realized a 3.3 percent increase in aggregate global sales of its brands to €1.2 billion last year with commercial licensee/direct sales rising by 5.4 percent to €864.7 million and licensee sales falling by 2.3 percent year-over-year to €313.8 million. 

Helped by higher sponsorship investments and communications, the Kappa, Superga and Sebago brands parent posted 5.1 percent growth in 2024 Ebitda to €61.1 million. In a separate development, BasicNet confirmed that Permira’s acquisition of a significant minority stake in K-Way S.p.A. is set to close on Feb. 28.
