Goldwin, the Japanese sports apparel company that also distributes a portfolio of own and licensed brands in certain regions, raised its guidance for the full year ending March 31, 2023, after posting record results for the third consecutive quarter.

Sales are now projected to reach 113,500 million yen (€808.4m), up 15.5 percent on the previous year and above previous guidance of ¥106,000 (€755.1m). Annual operating profit is expected to increase by 23.0 percent to ¥20,300 million (€144.6m), up from prior guidance of a 3.0 percent rise. Net profit is seen jumping by 39.4 percent year over year to ¥20,000 million (€142.5m), better than the 11.5 percent growth previously forecast.

In the nine months ended Dec. 31, sales increased by 17.6 percent to ¥86,746 million (€618.0m). Operating profit improved by 29.1 percent to ¥18,281 million (€130.3m) and net profit was up by 50.8 percent to ¥16,268 million (€115.9m).
