Goldwin, the Japanese sports apparel company that also distributes a portfolio of own and licensed brands in certain regions, is now forecasting full-year sales to rise 7.9 percent to ¥106,000 million (€763.2m) for the 12 months ending March 31, 2023. Annual operating profit is expected to increase 3.0 percent to ¥17,000 million (€122.4m), with FY profit predicted to be up 11.5 percent year-over-year to ¥16,000 million (€115.2m).
For the six months ended Sept. 30, group profit was ¥5,844 million (€42.1m) against ¥2,632 million. Operating profit rose by 60 percent from the year-ago period to ¥5,277 million (€38.0m). Meanwhile, net sales increased by 18.6 percent to ¥45,309 million (€326.2m) from ¥38,208 million.
