Inditex improved its profitability by 40.1 percent in the first half of the year, which ended on July 31. According to Diffusion Sport, the Galician textiles firm’s net income amounted to €2.513 billion on revenues of €16.851 billion – themselves up 13.5 percent.
Sales were up on- and offline and in all regions. At constant currencies, they rose 16.6 percent. The subsequent constant-currency increase, from Aug. 1 to Sept. 11, was 14 percent. Inventory, meanwhile, declined 6.9 percent from H1 2022.
At the end of July, Inditex was operating in 213 markets through some 5,745 stores.
