Le Coq Sportif saw sales in the first half of 2022 jump to €65 million, representing a 23 percent increase compared to the first half ended June 2021. The strong performance was primarily driven by international sales, which rose by 80 percent. Textile sales, which registered a 13 percent growth, accounted for 60 percent of revenues. The gross margin was down from 47 percent in the first half of 2021 to 44 percent, mainly due to increased energy and transport costs that have not yet entirely been transferred onto sales prices. Le Coq Sportif is controlled by Airesis, an investment holding company listed on the main segment of the Swiss stock exchange.
