For the first half of 2022 Munich enjoyed a year-on-year rise of 30.6 percent in revenues, from €24.64 to €32.18 million, according to CMDsport. The Spanish sportswear brand appears to be on track to break its record for annual sales, set last year at €52 million.

Fashion is catching up to sport as a category. Fashion shoes were up by 11 percent, and fashion accessories by 50 percent. Consequently, fashion shoes now account for two-thirds of the mainline business, sports shoes, which brought in €6 million, for a year-on-year rise of 43 percent.

Meanwhile, own-store sales improved by a whopping 131 percent to €2.8 million. The first half’s four openings – at La Maquinista, Bonaire, Coruña and Parque Sur – raised the store total to 24 in Spain. New points of sale at the airports of Barajas (Madrid) and Prat (Barcelona) are still to come this year.
