Renewcell, the Swedish dissolving pulp manufacturer, reported net sales of 12.6 million Swedish kronor (€1.1m) for the full year to Dec. 31, 2022, up from SEK 2.8 million (€253K) in the previous year. Through its patented process, the company produces a dissolving cellulose pulp known as Circulose from 100 percent textile waste, such as worn-out cotton clothes and production scraps. During 2022, the company signed a long-term supply agreement with Lenzing. It made product launches with new brand partners such as Zara, Tommy Hilfiger, Ganni, Pangaia, Filippa K and Jade Cropper. Renewcell was founded by innovators from Stockholm’s KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2012.
