Symphony Holdings has reported an 82 percent increase in revenues to 221.9 million Hong Kong dollars (€24.1m-$28.6m) for the first half of this year. Branding revenues from Arena products, licenses for Pony and Skins, and the healthcare business jumped by 155 percent to HK109.8 million (€11.9m-$14.1m). Symphony has a joint venture with Descente for Arena in China, and it set up a joint venture with Itochu at the end of last year to manage the Skins brand globally. Retail segment revenues from property investment and outlet malls grew by 52 percent to HK99.0 million. Extraordinary items helped the group to turn around to a net attributable profit of HK$2,115,000 (€2.3m-$2.7m) in the first half from a loss of HK166.2 million in the year-ago period.
