Technogym reported a revenue increase of 10.2 percent to €128.7 million in the first quarter of 2021, with a growth of 13.1 percent in constant currencies. In terms of euros, they rose by 26.0 percent in Italy, by 1.3 percent in the rest of Europe, by 29.1 percent in Asia/Pacific and by 69.4 percent in the Middle East, India and Africa, but they were down by 19.7 percent in North America. Home Fitness B2C revenues increased by 129.2 percent to €51.3 million and accounted for 40 percent of total revenues, up from 15 percent in the first quarter of 2020. The company’s B2B operations increased in the geographical areas that have been recovering from the pandemic, starting with the health segment. The Fitness Club segment is also also beginning to recover, the company said, especially in the Asia/Pacific region and the U.K. The rest of Europe and North America are expected to restart in the coming months.Technogym is projecting a higher growth in the second quarter than in the first oner. It is maintaining the target of reaching one billion euros in turnover by 2024.
