Operating profit at the Japanese group rose by 38 percent year-over-year to ¥4,106 million (€25.1m) for the six months ended Sep. 30. Xebio’s net income was essentially flat at ¥2,106 million (€12.9m) compared to ¥2,021 million. Six-month revenues lifted 4.3 percent higher year-over-year to ¥125,179 million (€764.0m) compared to ¥120,052 million.
The company’s current outlook for the 12 months ending March 31, 2025, calls for 43 percent year-over-year operating profit growth to ¥6,002 million (€36.3m) and a 16 percent increase in profit attributable to owners of the parent at ¥3,002 million (€18.3m). Annual sales are forecast to rise by 3.5 percent to ¥250,958 million (€1.53b).
