Finn Carlsen, who ran Sport 2000 International between 2001 and 2004, will gradually become the new owner of two leading European recruitment consultancies, International Sports Marketing (ISM) and Sports Brokers (SB), and he will run both of them. Carlsen, who is now 59 years old, had bought half of the shares from Ted Ivens and his wife Annie, who founded ISM in 1986, and he will acquire the balance later this year. Ivens, 75, will retire gradually. Carlsen was born in Denmark and now lives in Frankfurt. He speaks Danish, German, English and Italian fluently. He has served in senior management positions with many international companies, with a focus on human resources. After his departure from Sport 2000, he ran three FMCG companies outside the sporting goods sector in Sweden, Denmark and Germany.
