Fischer expects its sales to increase to €180 million in the 2013-14 business year, ending on Feb. 28, from €173 million in the previous financial year. Sales in Germany, which account for 9 percent of total sales, were stable in 2013-14, due to an increasing amount of pre-orders and almost no reorders. Fischer expects its sales to decrease in the 2014-15 financial year as retailers still have a lot of stock. The company expects to sell about 1.3 million pairs of skis in 2013-14. Cross-country skis and alpine skis each represent 50 percent of total ski sales. Ski boots account for 30 percent of total sales, while skis still account for about 70 percent of total sales. Almost 50 percent of the ski boots sold by Fischer are customized.
