Fischer is no longer going to distribute Swix' products in Russia, where it is particularly strong, after the upcoming winter season. The decision follows Fischer's recent acquisition of One Way Sport, the Finnish producer of ski poles. The Swix Sport Group will set up its own subsidiary in Russia, ODO Brav Russia, which will start with pre-orders for the next season. According to a public statement, the decision to part ways was taken because both companies have expanded their product ranges.
