Fletcher Leisure Group of Canada has been placed in receivership. The company owns the Sunice label and is the golf apparel licensee for AUR, Tommy Hilfiger and Bridgestone. Reports indicate that Fletcher's receiver, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, is about to sell some of the assets to an unnamed strategic investor. Fletcher dismissed 55 of its 92 employees in Canada last month. The company is owned by Mark and Allan Fletcher through a holding company called Holdco. It has more than 29 million Canadian dollars (€20.6m-$27.7m) in secured and unsecured debt including C$5.8 million (€4.1m-$5.5m) owed to suppliers and C$3 million (€2.1m-$2.9m) in licensing fees owed to Adams Golf.
