Foot Locker, Inc., the New York-based specialty sports retailer, has announced the appointment of Samantha Lomow as president of global brands – a new role for the retailer – effective March 18. Lomow joins Foot Locker from Hasbro, where she served as president, branded entertainment and previously as president, entertainment brands and senior vice president, Hasbro brands. She brings more than 25 years of global brand innovation, strategy and business transformation experience in consumer products, entertainment and licensing. She is also a member of the board of managers of Claire’s Holdings LLC, where she serves as chair of the nominating, governance and ESG committees and as a member of the audit committee.
Lomow will report directly to Frank Bracken, executive vice president and chief operating officer, and oversee Foot Locker, Inc.’s global brand portfolio and operating divisions in North America, EMEA and APAC. She will work closely with the leadership team to drive Foot Locker’s long-term strategies and position the company for continued innovation, growth and profitability.
