WHP Global, the owner of Italian footwear and sportswear brand Lotto, has appointed former Major League Soccer star Mike Magee as its inaugural Head of Talent for its US soccer division.
Magee, who spent 13 years in the MLS and has been a part of teams such as NY Red Bulls, LA Galaxy, and Chicago Fire, was named the league’s MVP in 2013. “In my new role, we have a vision and a plan for Lotto to assemble a roster of influential players to bolster the brand’s presence in the U.S. soccer scene,” he said.
In July 2023, Lotto announced a partnership with Dick’s Sporting Goods as the primary retail partner in the US for the brand’s soccer and racquet sports products.
