Four years after the European Surf Industry Manufacturers Association (EuroSIMA) started «La Fête du Surf» on the beaches of France, the event is expanding to all of Europe, renamed Surfing Day. The first Sunday of Summer, June 22, EuroSIMA and the European Surfing Federation are joining with local federations, schools, clubs and other groups to bring Surfing Day to the waters of 15 countries. Some of the continent’s 800,000 surfers will be able to share their world with newcomers to the sport. Information is available at www.surfing-day.com.
