France will extend the so-called Pass’Sport, currently available to around 800,000 youngsters, to more than 5 million potential beneficiaries. The announcement was made by French President Emmanuel Macron during a speech in Clichy-sous-Bois, near Paris, on June 8. Launched in May 2021, the Pass’Sport is a €50 subsidy that aims to promote participation in sport in the 8-18 age group. Beneficiaries can use it to join a sports association.
