Frédéric Duprez, a former buying director of Décathlon who has run Tribord, the water sports label of the French retailer, is set to succeed Olivier Kaufmann at the head of Cabesto. The latter is a chain of four stores specializing in fishing tackle and related products owned by Oxylane, parent company of Décathlon. It was founded in 2003 by Kaufmann himself, who had previously run Décathlon's French operation. He is said to be leaving the group due to differences in strategic orientation.
