The French Government will distribute around 400,000 tickets for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games under the “Tous aux Jeux” scheme, which is meant to make the events accessible to all. Around 100,000 of these tickets will be distributed for the Olympic Games and a further 300,000 for the Paralympics. Of the 400,000 overall free tickets, 100,000 will go to volunteers in sports. Another 258,800 tickets will go to primary, secondary and high school pupils, of which 200,000 for events at the Paralympic Games alone. People with disabilities and their caregivers will also get 17,400 of the tickets acquired by the State. Finally, 24,000 tickets will go to civil servants in categories B and C, like law enforcement officers (Gardiens de la Paix), nurses and administrative staff. The allocation of tickets under this scheme is scheduled for completion by spring 2024 at the latest.
