GBsport TV, a free digital sports channel that will stream sports live in the U.K., is preparing to launch in September. The channel has the backing of the sports production company Input Media; the brand engagement specialist Kameleon; the Telegraph Media Group; and Convers Sports Initiatives, a fast-growing sports, media and entertainment company. GBsport TV will show 1,400 hours of live sports each year from the U.K. and internationally, and the core sports it covers will include athletics, badminton, basketball, boxing, cycling, gymnastics, handball, hockey, rowing, sailing, swimming, tae kwon do, tennis and winter sports. Fans with laptops, mobile devices and internet-enabled television will be able to view the channel, and it can also be seen on Facebook and other social media sites.
