GE is going to be working with Burlington Worldwide to develop air-permeable and waterproof fabrics for the European workwear market. Substrates from Burlington will mix with membranes from GE for apparel, footwear and accessories for workers in industries such as construction, railways and postal services. The fabrics meet European standards for high-visibility warning clothing and for breathability and waterproofness. The cooperation will make use of GE's eVent fabrics product line.
