Giant has announced that it will invest US$50 million in new corporate headquarters with research and design buildings and state-of-the-art facilities. The Taiwanese company, which is recognized as the world's largest bicycle manufacturer, said it has already gained approval for the plan from the management of the Central Taiwan Science Park in Taichung, where construction work will take place. Giant's current head office is also located at the Central Taiwan Science Park. The project is scheduled for completion in 2017.
