Giro180, the Spanish buying group, has decided to allow retailers who have been members for at least two years to become shareholders, participating in the decision-making process. The members have elected a new president, Felipe Martinez of Leire Sport in Irún, replacing José Antonio Sanz of Aldo Deportes of Tafalla after six years in the post. Fidel Muguerza of Deportes Uro from Estella was elected vice president. The secretary of the organization will be Joseba Ajuria of Vicuña Sport from Ordizia. Giro 180 has 25 retail members which operate 45 sporting goods stores.
